Title Clearing & Escrow, LLC is focused on driving business growth and expanding market presence. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for sourcing new business opportunities, building client relationships, and managing performance goals to increase revenue and market share.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new client growth through continuous prospecting, networking opportunities and expanding usage of our products and services with existing clients
- Develop relationships with internal partners and affiliate business leaders to expand cross sell opportunities
- Identify and target key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential partners to initiate partnerships and collaborations that align with the company's objectives
- Develop and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
- Develop and monitor sales related business drivers, metrics and models
- Communicate effectively with industry professionals and showcase the value proposition of company services
- Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to expand your network and stay up to date with industry trends and market development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor products, services and solutions that meet the specific needs of lending institutions and capital market participants
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of new partnerships, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making
- Develop and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals and pitches to prospects and partners, highlighting the benefits of collaborating with the company
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, executives and influencers within the lending community and capital markets to position Fay as a preferred partner
- Lead contract negotiations and deal structuring, ensuring favorable terms for both parties while adhering to company guidelines
- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes and economic indicators to anticipate shifts in the lending and capital markets, providing timely insights to internal teams
- Track and analyze business development metrics, generating regular reports and updates for senior management to assess progress and identify areas for improvement
- Manage reports for revenue forecasts and sales related expenses
- Develop domain knowledge of Fay’s business to include an understanding of organizational objectives
- Maintain broad influence through ongoing development of relationships across the organization
- Ensure compliance with Fay’s policies, processes, and practices
- Successfully complete all department and company required training
- Model Fay’s Values, Operating Principles, ethical standards, professionalism and code of conduct
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or commensurate experience required
- 5+ years' experience in title industry sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building strong client relationships
- 5+ years' experience supporting diverse business functions; mortgage/ financial services industry experience preferred
- 5+ years' experience in process implementation to include demonstrated experience researching and adapting best practices to align with business and product needs
- Comprehensive knowledge of project and product management lifecycles to include gathering and prioritizing business requirements and product vision
- In-depth knowledge of mortgage banking, loan servicing, mortgage and title products and title settlement services
- In-depth knowledge of technology platforms, including loan originations, servicing and title production
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and general title underwriting guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executives, peers and associates
- Presentation skills necessary to persuade and/or facilitate discussions with prospective and existing clients
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service in fast-paced environments
- Client focused with strong execution skills and a results orientation; able to link to business needs with tactical execution and results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively interact with all levels across the organization
- Ability to effectively present to and facilitate discussions with executive leadership
- Ability to understand and document processes, and have a high level of problem solving, process improvement, and product management skills
