ZobeLab is a music technology startup dedicated to revolutionizing the music industry. The VP of Alliances will be responsible for establishing and nurturing connections throughout the music industry, focusing on business development, partnership management, and investor relations.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing and nurturing the connections throughout the music industry for our platform
- Business development, forming partnerships, managing accounts, investor relations, acquiring advertisers for our platform, and fostering strategic partnerships to support the growth and success of independent music artists, music talent professionals, and labels
- Identifying and establishing key partnerships with music educators, music labels, producers, DJs, music supervisors, festivals, concert/showcase promoters, other industry professionals, advertisers, and potential sponsors
- Securing affiliate marketing deals
- Reaching out to brands, artists, institutions, music companies, and music professionals for partnerships, licensing deals, or sponsorships
- Initiate contact, follow-up, and lock in an interest in our new music platform and establish a partnership by obtaining first a letter of intent (LOI) and non-disclosure agreement (NDA), then establishing partnership in a meeting, a contract completed afterwards, and partners are able to sign-in to the platform and create their accounts next
- Constant follow-ups, meetings, account management, and business development are recommended in order to ensure steady orders from clients within the platform and establishing new partnerships who will offer opportunities to the clients within the platform
- Work closely with our Chief Sales Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, and Chief Executive Officer while reporting directly to the CSO
Requirements:
- Experience in Partnerships and Account Management
- Ability to develop Strategic Partnerships
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Understanding of the music industry and independent music landscape
- Proven track record of driving business development and partnership growth
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience with sales and developing new leads
- Detail orientation and self-organization will be needed to be fully successful
- Experience with partnership management, business development, and investor relations
- Connections within the music industry
