Project Manager

Hai Robotics is revolutionizing warehouse automation with intelligent robotics systems. They are seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of their implementations in the Americas region, ensuring efficiency and quality of project delivery while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Puts the safety of the team as the paramount objective
• Ensures that Hai’s safety practices are being followed in the field
• The PM is the primary owner of delivering Hai Robotic’s projects to our customers and exhibits our commitment to customer obsession in our implementations
• They own delivery and is measured across 2 critical performance dimensions: Efficiency – measured by how soon the Hai project team stabilizes the site, gets the customer to be self-sufficient and can exit
• Quality – measured by the CSI (Customer Success Index) which reflects how well we are meeting the customer’s defined (lagging) KPIs
• Lead and manage warehouse automation projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
• Understands that the delivery of a highly functioning robotics systems includes the precise coordination of components across hardware, software and processes
• Works across these broad functional teams to ensure that all functions come together optimally
• Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments including sales, solution, logistics, and software teams
• Leads this highly cross-functional project team to deploy our systems and stabilize sites rapidly and transition customers to self-sufficiency
• Partners with local US and Chinese HQ colleagues across a broad and diverse cross-functional team
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to resolve escalations
• Ensure implementations are aligned with customer-defined KPIs and business outcomes
• Champion Hai’s culture of customer obsession through every phase of delivery
• Manage relationships between clients and stakeholders, and keep stakeholders informed and updated for all parties
• Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget
• Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables
• Managing customer satisfaction within the project transition period
• Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Report on implementation health, risk, and performance to executive leadership
• Ensures a smooth hand-off from implementation completion to customer support
• Drives their team to achieve customer success outcomes to reach FAC (acceptance) that leads to ability for cash collections

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related discipline
• 5 years of experience managing technical projects
• 1~ 2-year experience in warehouse operation/ logistic functions/3PL industry is a must-have
• Proven working experience in project management
• Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in robotics and supply chain
• Ability to lead project teams of various sizes and see them through to completion
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to travel
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills, and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage and oversee multiple projects at the same time
• Budget management experience
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and must provide proof of eligibility upon hire in accordance with federal regulations
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• AutoCAD 2D layout proficiency is highly preferred
