Peak Partners has a regional healthcare client seeking to hire an Application Support Engineer. The Application Support Engineer will be responsible for managing multiple applications and backend processes, assisting with remediation of security-related issues, and collaborating with business and technical resources to resolve system issues.
Responsibilities:
- With minimal supervision, collaborate independently with business and technical resources to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve system issues
- Advise on potential application modifications, enhancements, smoke testing, patching, or business process changes as appropriate
- Solicit and document customer’s requirements, then leverage your development/delivery skills to facilitate the completion and ongoing maintenance and support of new enhancements/features/updates post go-live
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Minimum three years of experience working with mainframe, client server, cloud, or enterprise applications in the areas of requirements
- Strong SQL query writing and relational database concepts background
- Experience with SSIS packages, Visual Studio, and Visio
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to perform a Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Candidates will be from the mid-Atlantic states
