Workiva is seeking a strategic Director of Product Management, Growth to orchestrate and lead new and innovative growth solutions. In this role, you will define the vision and go-to-market strategy for scalable, compliant, and enterprise-grade features while leading a dedicated team of Product Managers across various departments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the roadmap for product releases platform innovation, translating ambiguous customer input, market trends and emerging technologies into focused bets with clear success metrics (adoption, quality, and ROI)
- Lead the integration of AI-driven capabilities into 0→1 and 1→N features, focusing on document intelligence and assistive user experiences
- Meet with strategic customers to identify needs, validate features, and ensure development is on track
- Foster a culture of evidence-based decision-making through experimentation frameworks and human-in-the-loop feedback
- Research competitive solutions and the broader technology landscape to identify new solution opportunities, markets, and use cases
- Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers
- Inform internal stakeholders of product strategy and goals, ensuring their input is considered in the broader ecosystem
- A hands-on oriented Leader is preferred that is comfortable stepping in to help to define requirements, covering a broad level of product detail and able to directly interact with Engineers to drive optimal outcomes
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in product management or related field with a Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- 4+ years of experience specifically managing and developing other Product Managers within an enterprise SaaS environment
- Demonstrated multi-year experience delivering Enterprise SaaS offerings from early stage through scale; with a feature-set that includes data-driven capabilities, complex platform features or data-driven products (e.g., automation, analytics, or AI-enhanced workflows)
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with a strong executive presence
- Experience in FinTech, RegTech, or highly regulated/compliance-heavy environments
- Experience navigating '0 to 1' product development within a startup or a new business unit in a mature company
- Expertise in usage-based pricing models or value-based packaging
- Strong data fluency (analytics, SQL, or equivalent) and experience with experimentation frameworks
- Familiarity with the operational trade-offs of AI features (e.g., latency, cost-to-serve, and LLM output reliability)
