COMPA Industries, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead HR and Payroll workstreams within a large-scale ERP transformation. This role is responsible for driving execution, aligning with program leadership, and ensuring delivery across complex, cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day execution of HR & Payroll ERP workstreams
- Manage scope, schedule, and deliverables aligned with program milestones
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
- Coordinate across business, IT, SMEs, and system integrators
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
- Ensure adherence to program governance, controls, and reporting
- Drive stakeholder communication and alignment across all levels
- Serve as primary escalation point for HR/Payroll workstreams
Requirements:
- 8+ years of project management experience
- 5+ years leading ERP-related workstreams
- Direct experience managing HR & Payroll functions in ERP implementations
- Strong understanding of HR/Payroll processes and compliance
- Experience working within structured program governance environments
- Proven ability to manage risks, schedules, and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with tools like MS Project, Jira, or similar
- Bachelor's degree required
- PMP (or equivalent) preferred
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (highly preferred)
- Experience migrating from Oracle EBS → SAP S/4HANA
- Background in large enterprise or federal/regulated environments
- Experience working with system integrators and ERP vendors
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery models
- DOE or National Lab experience is a plus
