Empire Tax Professionals is seeking a Sales Development Representative to qualify inbound leads and book consultations for their sales team. The role involves high-volume calls with entrepreneurs and business owners looking for tax planning assistance, requiring quick qualification and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume inbound prospecting via phone and AI texting platform daily
- Qualify prospects against budget, authority, need, and timeline criteria in under 5 minutes per call
- Book qualified consultations directly onto AE calendars
- Maintain a show rate that proves you’re qualifying, not just booking
- Log every call in CRM with accurate notes and dispositions — no ghost leads
- Hit daily and weekly activity KPIs tracked on a team scoreboard
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine targeting and messaging
Requirements:
- 1+ year of phone-based sales, appointment setting, or lead qualification experience
- You thrive on volume — 50+ conversations a day doesn't scare you, it energizes you
- Competitive
- Comfortable qualifying business owners on financial topics
- Tax Accounting firm experience is a MUST
- Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or similar)
- Based in US or Canada, available 10am–6pm EST
