Konveio is a community engagement platform that aids planners in managing complex projects. They are seeking a part-time Sales Development Representative to support an Account Executive by identifying and qualifying opportunities for projects, focusing on research-driven and outbound activities.
Responsibilities:
- Identify High-Value Opportunities
- Monitor and process information from RFP platforms and procurement sources
- Identify projects that align with Konveio’s core use cases across: Planning & urban development, Architecture & engineering, Public relations & communications
- Evaluate which opportunities fit the “Konveio mold” based on plan topic, stakeholder engagement needs, and project scale
- Build Targeted Prospect Lists
- Research and compile lists of firms and individuals pursuing specific RFPs
- Identify key stakeholders (project leads, communications teams, consultants, etc.)
- Maintain clean, structured prospect data for outreach
- Execute outreach via email and phone to targeted prospects
- Engage firms actively working on or pursuing relevant projects
- Clearly communicate Konveio’s value in the context of their project workflows
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads
- Schedule meetings and demos for the Account Executive
- Provide context on the opportunity, stakeholders, and project background
- Collaborate closely with the AE to refine targeting and messaging
- A consistent pipeline of qualified meetings tied to real, active projects
- Strong alignment between sourced opportunities and Konveio’s ideal use cases
- High-quality prospect lists tied to RFP activity and project cycles
- Effective collaboration with the Account Executive to convert opportunities into revenue
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or research-driven roles
- Strong research and analytical skills (comfortable working with messy or unstructured data)
- Experience with outbound sales (cold calling and emailing)
- Ability to understand and map complex project ecosystems (firms, stakeholders, timelines)
- Excellent communication skills; clear, concise, and confident
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, iterative environment
- Familiarity with RFP processes, procurement platforms, or public sector planning projects
- Experience working with AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) or communications firms
- Comfort using tools for data scraping, AI enrichment, or CRM management
