Analyst, Internal Controls

At Cantor Fitzgerald Securities, we are seeking an Internal Control Analyst to join our growing global financial institution. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of post-trade processes, working closely with various departments and supporting firm-wide initiatives. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise and make an impact across multiple business areas.

• Reconciliation: Match and reconcile external reports with internal systems.
• Daily Reporting: Analyze and create daily reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate trade flow data and records.
• Audit Support: Review and process audit confirmations, coordinating responses.
• Regulatory Oversight: Assist with possession and control processes, ensuring compliance.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate new regulations and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
• Trade Settlement: Track and reconcile trade settlements and fees.
• Collaboration: Partner with back and middle office teams to resolve trade issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop and maintain management reporting and KPIs.
• Project Management: Handle multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (data analysis, formulas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound business judgment.
• Self-motivated and intellectually curious, able to take initiative.
• Excellent communication skills for clear presentation of findings.
• Team-oriented mindset, comfortable collaborating with various functions.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
• Familiarity with financial services and regulatory requirements is an asset.
