GoodUnited is hiring a Sales Athlete for the role of Account Executive. In this position, you will sell directly to nonprofit executives and manage deals from discovery through to closing, while driving impactful conversations about social fundraising.
Responsibilities:
- Own qualified opportunities from discovery to close
- Run a clean, structured sales process (no hope-based selling)
- Lead high-stakes conversations that reframe how nonprofits think about social fundraising
- Drive clear next steps, timelines, and decisions
- Partner closely with Customer Success and Services to ensure customers win
- Build pipeline through events, referrals, and when the pipeline isn't full, picking up the phone
Requirements:
- You've owned a revenue or fundraising number
- You understand nonprofit fundraising realities and donor pipelines
- You bring energy, urgency, and presence into conversations
- You're comfortable pushing back when something doesn't make sense
- You care about mission, and believe outcomes matter more than intentions
