IDR, Inc. is seeking a Duck Creek Business Analyst to join one of their top clients in support of upcoming insurance transformation initiatives. This role involves gathering requirements, defining solutions, and driving successful delivery in an Agile environment, with a focus on the Duck Creek platform.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
- Translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria
- Support initiatives across Duck Creek modules, including Policy, Billing, and Claims
- Partner with stakeholders and development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented effectively
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, and user acceptance testing
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Help identify process improvements and support solution design for insurance system enhancements
Requirements:
- Experience working with the Duck Creek platform in at least one module
- Strong experience gathering, documenting, and refining business requirements
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including user story creation and backlog support
- Background in the insurance industry, with Property & Casualty experience preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams
