E Tech Group is one of the largest engineering and system integration firms in the United States, providing IT automation and control solutions for over 30 years. They are seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the delivery of large, complex projects within the Mission Critical industry, focusing on project execution, coordination, and onsite support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with proposal reviews, scope understanding, and internal project handoff activities
- Develop a working understanding of project scope, schedule objectives, and execution strategy
- Support effective communication between the Project Manager, project team, Construction Manager, Engineering, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Attend and document project meetings, including client, GC, and vendor coordination meetings
- Track action items and follow up with responsible parties to ensure timely completion
- Track onsite progress against the project schedule and escalate risks or delays
- Coordinate site readiness activities and support commissioning and closeout phases
- Maintain organized project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and logs
- Assist with change management tracking and documentation under the direction of the Project Manager
- Support cost tracking, forecasts, and Pay Application preparation as needed
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to confirm schedules, deliverables, and documentation requirements
- Identify potential conflicts or constraints and escalate appropriately
- Become proficient in the use of E TECH GROUP PMO methods, tools, and processes
- Develop a strong understanding of E TECH GROUP’s Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) stages
- Participate in the implementation and adoption of new project management tools and processes
- Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, assistant project management, field engineering, or related roles
- Working knowledge of project management principles, tools, and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, construction-driven environments
- Comfort working onsite and interacting with contractors, vendors, and engineers
- Experience supporting schedules, documentation, and project tracking
- Ability to support daily onsite activities at local project sites and travel up to 30% as required for non-local projects
- A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered
