Motorola Solutions is a global community focused on keeping people safer through technology. They are seeking a data-driven strategist to bridge product behavior and business value, leading the evolution of product analytics and ensuring effective usage of data for strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the Instrumentation Strategy: Own the "Radar". Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners and Engineering to identify core features and workflows and define what "Active Usage" looks like
- Identify Adoption Gaps: Use behavioral segmentation to identify "power users" versus "at-risk" groups. You won't just report a drop in usage; you’ll pinpoint exactly where in the onboarding journey users are falling off
- Narrative Leadership: Lead the strategy to synthesize complex product data into high-level insights for the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring that data is not just "presented," but used to drive resource allocation and strategic pivots
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and guide the right conversations to ensure product and technical teams are executing on the broader telemetry and adoption strategy. You are responsible for ensuring that "success signals" aren't just defined on paper but are accurately captured in the telemetry
Requirements:
- High School diploma, Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Finance, IT, Marketing, Sales, or Technology
- 5+ years of experience in one of the following areas: Business Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or Technology
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
- 5+ years of experience with Pendo, HubSpot, Gainsight, and Salesforce
- The ability to take a 'plain-English' business question (e.g., 'Which accounts are at risk?') and build the technical telemetry to answer it
- You're obsessed with data integrity and cleaning up the 'noise' so leadership can make decisions with total confidence
- Experience leading cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Engineering) without having direct authority over them
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for in-app messaging and an understanding of object relationships in SaaS data stacks
