ZobeLab is a music technology app startup dedicated to revolutionizing the music industry. As the VP of Alliances, you will be responsible for business development, forming strategic partnerships, and managing investor relations to support the growth of independent music artists and professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing and nurturing connections throughout the music industry for our platform
- Forming partnerships, managing accounts, and acquiring advertisers for our platform
- Identifying and establishing key partnerships with music educators, music labels, producers, DJs, music supervisors, festivals, concert/showcase promoters, other industry professionals, advertisers, and potential sponsors
- Securing affiliate marketing deals
- Reaching out to brands, artists, institutions, music companies, and music professionals for partnerships, licensing deals, or sponsorships
- Initiating contact, following-up, and locking in interest in our new music platform and establishing partnerships by obtaining first a letter of intent (LOI) and non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
- Establishing partnerships in meetings and completing contracts afterwards
- Constant follow-ups, meetings, account management, and business development to ensure steady orders from clients within the platform and establishing new partnerships who will offer opportunities to the clients within the platform
Requirements:
- Experience with partnership management, business development, and investor relations
- Experience with those tasks within the music industry and have connections within the music industry
- Analytical Skills and Communication
- Experience in Partnerships and Account Management
- Ability to develop Strategic Partnerships
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Understanding of the music industry and independent music landscape
- Proven track record of driving business development and partnership growth
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Experience with sales and developing new leads
- Detail orientation and self-organization will be needed to be fully successful
