- Contract: W2 only, 12 month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI
- Pay: $ 75-80/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
Overview
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint applications and leveraging Power Platform tools to create scalable and efficient workflows. This position requires expertise in Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint Online, Power Platform, and server-side development, supporting both backend and frontend development tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SharePoint Online applications, including client-side web parts, extensions, and workflows using SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
- Design and implement workflows and forms utilizing SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Nintex
- Integrate SharePoint with REST APIs, CSOM, JSOM, and SOAP services
- Automate administrative tasks and environment management using PowerShell scripts
- Create custom PowerApps and Power Automate workflows to meet business needs
- Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Manage and optimize SQL Server databases linked to SharePoint
- Support and enhance existing SharePoint applications and workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Maintain high standards of code quality, security, and performance
Required Skills
- Adept in C#, ASP.NET, and other server-side technologies for backend development
- Mastery of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and jQuery for front-end development
- Proficient in developing MS Power Platform applications, including Mobile app development
- Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and development techniques
- Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath
- Knowledge of SharePoint APIs: REST, CSOM, JSOM, SOAP
- Experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Ability to automate tasks using PowerShell
- Minimum of 4+ years working directly with SharePoint
Required Education
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Skills
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer, Power Platform Developer, or similar are highly desirable
