This role requires an expert-level Software Architect to design and develop programs for the Integrated Account System (IAS). The project focuses on modernizing existing Taxpayer/Revenue Accounting and Assessment Receivable systems within a government taxation organization.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design for new development and enhancements
- Coordinate solutions across technical teams
- Analyze requirements, system design, and development
- Break down systems into components and interfaces
- Present system designs to stakeholders
- Develop design documents and specifications
- Perform coding, unit, and integration testing
- Write and optimize SQL queries
- Support user testing and production issues
- Tune application performance
- Mentor junior team members
✅ Required Qualifications
Mandatory Experience:
- 7+ years with government taxation systems (design, development, support)
- Strong experience with IBM WebSphere (WAS/WPS)
- Hands-on with IBM ODM / ILOG (Rules Engine)
- Experience with COBOL-based Rules Engine (Mainframe)
- Knowledge of Forms Definition Facility & metadata-driven systems
- Experience with Business Rules Architecture & Runtime Engines
- Exposure to IBM SPSS Modeler / ADS
- Experience with EAD4J, JADE, and Spring frameworks
- Experience working on SOA platforms
Nice to Have:
- Experience with OpenShift / Containerization
