The Jim Pattison Volvo Cars Surrey has an opportunity for a Part-Time Parts Assistant and Delivery Driver to join our team. Overview: Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. As a Parts Assistant, you must be self-motivated, high energy, a team player and results-oriented with a proven track of customer service excellence. Shifts… Monday to Fridays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Responsibilities: • Shipping and receiving. • Ensure all parts are inspected upon arrival and any damages noted. • Process returns regularly based on the required guidelines. • Ensure inventory is accurately maintained. • Local deliveries. • Attend training courses as directed by Parts management. • General cleanup. • Assisting other staff during downtime as needed. What we value: • Experience with ordering, tracking and stocking is an asset. • Forward-facing customer service experience or sales experience is an asset. • Automotive parts experience is an asset, but not required. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. • Excellent organizational and realistic time management skills. • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ease.
