IAM Project Manager – EHR Modernization (Oracle Health / Cerner)

Emerging Tech is seeking an experienced IAM Project Manager to support the Department of Veterans Affairs’ Electronic Health Record Modernization initiative. This role involves coordinating with technical and functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Identity and Access Management capabilities in support of the joint EHR system.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with VA, DoD, and Cerner teams to deliver IAM capabilities that align with EHR modernization objectives
• Manage ODCIO IAM activities related to site deployment, training, and ongoing operational requirements
• Support documentation, reporting, and information flow for EHRM-IO program needs
• Facilitate meetings and provide stewardship for action item and decision tracking to ensure accountability and progress
• Track project performance metrics including cost, schedule, and deliverable quality
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure successful project execution

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical or project management role
• Proven experience managing Information Technology (IT) projects
• Strong understanding of system development lifecycle and project management methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multi-stakeholder environments
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related technical discipline (an additional 8 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree)
• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
• Experience implementing or managing electronic health record (EHR) systems
