They are seeking an HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic consultant and advisor, aligning people strategies with organizational objectives while building strong relationships with leaders and leveraging data to influence talent decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert coaching to managers and employees to build trust, resolve conflicts, and navigate complex workplace issues
- Ensure fair and compliant handling of employee relations matters, leveraging internal resources and HR leadership as needed
- Conduct effective, thorough, and objective workplace investigations
- Champion a culture of integrity, equity, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Maintains knowledge of federal and state legal requirements related to HR and employee management
- Act as a thought partner to leaders on performance management, talent priorities, and organizational change
- Participate in the development and execution of business strategies, ensuring alignment with HR initiatives
- Analyze workforce metrics and trends (e.g., turnover, engagement, employee surveys) and interpret the story behind the data and recommend actionable solutions to business unit leaders
- Champion employee engagement programs to enhance morale, retention, and organizational culture
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and business unit leaders to forecast workforce needs and create robust pipelines
- Support the implementation of the performance management process that promotes accountability and results
- Contribute to talent development, leadership coaching, and succession planning
- Act as a liaison between HR functions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, HR Compliance, L&D, HR Analytics) and the business units
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in fast-paced and high-volume settings
- Must be able to meet Eckerd's Auto Insurance requirements and drive for business purposes
- Must be able to travel occasionally and overnight to program locations as required
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, including effective negotiation and conflict resolution
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Analytical and critical thinking skills; able to interpret HR data and recommend evidence-based solutions
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, professionalism
- Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices
- Proficiency in using HR Information Systems (HRIS) and talent management systems to support business processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR-related technologies
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP highly preferred
- Experience with ADP and analytics dashboard preferred
