About this role
Role Overview
Strategic and proactive HR support for the Austrian business units
Support initiatives in the areas of talent, culture and performance to drive engagement and growth
Ensure that all HR practices comply with Austrian employment law and relevant EU regulations
Advise leaders as a trusted partner on organization design, change processes and workforce planning
Support performance and development processes, including goal setting, feedback culture and team development
Work closely with Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development to align recruiting and development strategies with business objectives
Use people data and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends and report relevant HR metrics
Manage employee relations issues in accordance with Austrian employment law — fairly, consistently and in line with company values
Collaborate with the works council (if applicable) and support related consultation processes
Contribute to and implement HR policies and initiatives to promote a positive employee experience across multiple regions
Promote engagement and culture initiatives within the supported business areas
Participate in cross-functional people topics and cross-departmental projects
Requirements
Experience as an HR Business Partner / People Partner, ideally in a dynamic or growing environment
Strong knowledge of Austrian employment law and up-to-date HR best practices
Experience in a European or international work environment
Strong business acumen and the ability to align people strategies with business goals
Experience coaching and advising leaders at multiple levels
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills — you demonstrate credibility and empathy
Proactive, solution-oriented working style with strong organizational and project-management skills
Confident use of people data and HR metrics
Relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD, degree or Austrian equivalent)
Fluent German and English
Nice to have
Experience working with a works council
Experience in international or multi-entity organizations
Experience in high-growth or scaling companies
Knowledge of HR practices in a UK and/or US context
Experience supporting change and transformation processes
Resilience, adaptability and comfort working with ambiguity
