Business Analyst – Telecom OSS/BSS (Process Design) – Remote,Contract-USA

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in telecom OSS/BSS systems and process design. The role involves bridging business needs with technology solutions, analyzing requirements, and supporting transformation initiatives across telecom operations and customer-facing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business/functional requirements across OSS (Operations Support Systems) and BSS (Business Support Systems)
• Translate business needs into process designs, workflows, and solution requirements aligned with OSS/BSS architecture
• Lead process design/re-engineering initiatives across order management, service fulfillment, provisioning, billing, and assurance
• Create detailed process models using UML diagrams (Use Case, Activity, Sequence)
• Apply industry frameworks like eTOM for standardized telecom process design
• Perform AS-IS vs TO-BE gap analysis across OSS/BSS layers and recommend transformation strategies
• Collaborate with IT, network, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless OSS/BSS integration
• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and requirement validation sessions
• Support UAT and ensure solutions meet business/operational expectations

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in the telecom domain
• Strong expertise in telecom OSS/BSS systems and process design/transformation
• Gather, analyze, and document business/functional requirements across OSS and BSS
• Translate business needs into process designs, workflows, and solution requirements aligned with OSS/BSS architecture
• Lead process design/re-engineering initiatives across order management, service fulfillment, provisioning, billing, and assurance
