Rangam is seeking a Business Development Manager / Sales Executive focused on Medicaid and Public Sector Healthcare. This role involves driving new business through targeted outreach and partnerships, while positioning the technology platform as a solution for member engagement and compliance in Medicaid programs.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new business across Medicaid health plans, MCOs, and state agencies
- Build pipeline through targeted outreach, partnerships, and strategic prospecting
- Position the platform as a solution for:
- Member engagement and outcomes
- Workforce participation and employment pathways
- Compliance and program effectiveness
- Navigate complex buying cycles , including RFPs, pilots, and multi-stakeholder decisions
- Align solutions to how Medicaid programs are funded and evaluated (PMPM, MLR, grants, state budgets)
Requirements:
- Experience selling into Medicaid, MCOs, or state health/human services agencies
- Background in SDOH, case management, care coordination, or workforce-related platforms
- Strong understanding of public healthcare funding models (PMPM, MLR, waiver programs, grants)
- Proven ability to generate pipeline and close deals in complex, policy-driven environments
- Comfortable engaging with program leaders, procurement, and executive stakeholders
- Experience selling solutions tied to value-based care or population health initiatives
- Familiarity with employment, workforce, or social impact programs within Medicaid
- Track record of winning RFP-driven or state-level opportunities
