Recru is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to lead business analysis efforts across their technology ecosystem supporting lending workflows. The role involves owning requirements from intake through delivery, facilitating discussions, and ensuring stakeholder alignment and solution validation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements discovery and ownership from intake through implementation and post-deployment validation
- Facilitate meetings with business, operations, product, developers, vendors, and leadership; drive discussions to clear decisions, identified risks, and documented next steps
- Own the creation, refinement, approval, and traceability of business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Produce clear, complete, and testable requirements documentation that supports efficient development, testing, and stakeholder validation
- Proactively identify ambiguity, gaps, conflicting stakeholder input, and downstream operational impacts; escalate and resolve as needed
- Serve as the primary analysis lead on assigned initiatives, ensuring requirements are complete, actionable, and aligned to business outcomes
- Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority and maintain momentum even when priorities, opinions, or personalities conflict
- Partner with QA/UAT stakeholders to ensure test scenarios align to requirements and business intent
- Demonstrate completed solutions to stakeholders and confirm delivered functionality satisfies approved requirements
- Maintain strong ownership, follow-through, and accountability for assigned workstreams with minimal supervision
Requirements:
- Experience leading requirements workshops with cross-functional stakeholders
- Proven ability to independently own analysis deliverables from discovery through UAT and implementation support
- Strong experience translating business needs into clear, testable requirements and maintaining traceability through delivery
- Experience operating effectively in a remote, high-accountability environment with consistent availability during business hours
- Deep knowledge of the mortgage loan process with experience in origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, post-closing
