In this role, you will collaborate with clients to support and optimize Azure-based container platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and security across cloud-native environments.
Responsibilities:
- Bring strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) operations and troubleshooting, including hands-on experience with Azure Application Gateway Ingress Controller (AGIC) and integration with Azure Application Gateway v2
- Provide operational support for the POSIT (RStudio) environment running within AKS clusters, including sustained support for applications hosted within the Posit platform
- Contribute significant procedural knowledge related to firewall request workflows, DNS processes, and certificate lifecycle management, frequently executing and managing these processes on behalf of other teams
- Apply general troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills to resolve complex platform, infrastructure, and application-related issues
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Scientific/Technical discipline is required
- Shall possess, at a minimum, a CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent certification is required
- Minimum of three years of Microsoft Azure experience for deploying highly available, scalable, and secure applications
- Demonstrated expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) operations and troubleshooting, including hands-on experience with Azure Application Gateway Ingress Controller (AGIC) and seamless integration with Azure Application Gateway v2
- Proficient understanding of firewall request workflows, DNS management processes, and certificate lifecycle management
- General knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), AKS applications, and POSIT environments
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages
- Understanding of Azure services, including Azure SQL, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory
- General knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Policy)
- Understanding of Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban)
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with cARMY Cloud or GOV Cloud
- Experience configuring Azure Virtual Desktops
