Palo Alto Firewall Engineer - IoT

Entelligence is a company that provides mission critical project delivery capacity for enterprise IT brands. They are seeking a Palo Alto Firewall Engineer who will act as a Subject Matter Expert and provide technical direction in complex projects, focusing on security solutions and threat analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Work full-time with the customer
• Analyze logs and events from the solution and provide threat analysis reports
• Build custom security policies and application signatures
• Mitigate web-based threats in a timely manner
• Maintain the solution and provide guidance on code upgrades, etc

Requirements:

• IoT design experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Public Cloud Platforms Architecture and Deployment (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Minimum 5 years experience with IDS/IPS solutions and technologies
• Minimum 3 years experience managing security solutions in large environments
• Extensive knowledge of different security threats
• Strong understanding of core Internet protocols and applications
• Detailed technical experience in the installation, configuration and operation of high-end firewall appliances
• Strong TCP/IP networking skills
• Ability to effectively manage many different tasks simultaneously
• Extensive background in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies required
• Preferably AWS Certified Solutions Architect
