LHH is seeking a hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Developer to support high-volume, business-critical email communications for the Digital Marketing team. This role requires strong technical expertise in building, QA’ing, and deploying production-ready emails within tight deadlines, focusing on execution rather than marketing strategy or copywriting.
Responsibilities:
- Hand‑code responsive HTML/CSS email templates in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Build modular, reusable email components to support scalable campaigns
- Translate Figma/Sketch designs into pixel‑accurate, production‑ready emails
- Use AMPscript for personalization, dynamic content, and conditional logic
- Support promotional, transactional, triggered, and lifecycle email programs
- Own end‑to‑end QA, including functionality, responsiveness, and cross‑client rendering
- Test emails in Litmus and independently resolve rendering issues
- Ensure accessibility, deliverability, and performance best practices are met
- Partner closely with campaign strategy, project management, and deployment teams
- Deliver clean, well‑documented email builds ready for production deployment
- Support rapid fixes, iterations, and last‑minute updates as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce Marketing Cloud email development experience
- Advanced HTML/CSS skills specific to email (including Outlook limitations)
- Strong AMPscript expertise for dynamic content and personalization
- Proven experience with complex responsive email builds, including: Background images, Mobile stacking and fluid layouts, Responsive breakpoints, Conditional content
- Experience working within and enhancing existing design systems and code libraries
- Ability to manage multiple builds simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ownership of QA
- Comfortable working with urgency and ambiguity
