Nutanix is a company focused on cutting-edge enterprise cloud technology, and they are seeking a Sr. Systems Sales Engineer to join their Systems Engineering & Solution Sales team. The role involves collaborating with sales teams, demonstrating Nutanix solutions to customers, and maintaining long-term relationships while providing mentorship and gathering customer feedback.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and articulate the features and benefits of Nutanix solutions to customers
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop account plans and create tailored proposals for clients
- Engage in technical evaluations (POCs) to ensure successful adoption of Nutanix solutions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers as a trusted advisor
- Provide mentorship to new hires and peer colleagues, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product development and enhance customer satisfaction
- Manage complex accounts and drive larger sales transactions effectively
- Achieve technical wins by collaborating with the presales team to meet customer needs efficiently
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role with 3+ years as a Presales Engineer
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands
- Strong analytical skills for solving complex problems and developing solution strategies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
- Experience with data center and cloud technologies, specifically in storage, virtualization, and automation frameworks
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage multiple projects effectively
- Desire to learn, mentor others, and maintain high ethics and integrity in professional conduct
