- Project Methodology & Infrastructure Planning:
- Develop and define project plans for infrastructure projects with specific focus on Healthcare verticals.
- Plan and manage the deployment of infrastructure in telecom networks, desktop setups, and healthcare IT systems, ensuring alignment with overall business and operational goals.
- Define the scope of telecom network deployments (e.g., cell tower installations, network expansions), desktop IT infrastructure (e.g., workstation deployment, desktop virtualization), and healthcare IT solutions (e.g., EMR systems, healthcare data centers).
- PMI PMBOK Framework:
- Utilize PMI PMBOK project management methodologies to guide all infrastructure initiatives, emphasizing telecom systems, desktop configurations, and healthcare IT infrastructure projects.
- Manage schedules, budgets, risks, and resources specific to these verticals, with a keen understanding of sector-specific challenges and requirements.
- Telecom, Desktop & Healthcare-Specific Documentation & Reporting:
- Provide weekly status reports focused on telecom infrastructure (e.g., network buildout, signal testing), desktop IT deployments (e.g., equipment rollout, system configuration), and healthcare IT projects (e.g., HIPAA compliance, secure data transfer).
- Regularly update and modify schedules based on project changes, such as delays in equipment delivery or technical issues related to healthcare compliance.
- Collaboration with Telecom, IT, and Healthcare Teams:
- Coordinate with telecom engineers, IT infrastructure teams, healthcare system SMEs, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams (e.g., telecom vendors, desktop deployment teams, IT security experts) and non-technical teams, ensuring project milestones are met.
- Site Visits & Infrastructure Implementation:
- Travel to various sites for telecom network setup (e.g., base station installations), desktop IT rollouts (e.g., company-wide workstation deployments), and healthcare IT infrastructure (e.g., hospital data center deployments, EMR integration).
- Ensure all technical installations and configurations meet project deadlines and industry-specific compliance standards.
- Technical Problem Solving:
- Address technical challenges specific to telecom, desktop, and healthcare infrastructure, such as network outages, desktop configuration issues, or healthcare data security concerns.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to resolve issues and ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Hybrid Work & Travel Logistics:
- Hybrid work schedule, with required in-person attendance in Long Island (New Hyde Park or Melville) once a week, typically on Thursdays.
- Travel to multiple infrastructure sites across the Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester, Long Island, and other locations as needed, with reimbursement for travel expenses.
