The Director, Global Alliances Marketing, is a critical management role within Global Loyalty & Partnerships Marketing, responsible for leading IHG’s Global Alliances marketing strategy and supporting the evolving needs of our business partners. This role focuses on maximizing marketing effectiveness and efficiency to drive Global Alliances success through fast, disciplined execution, strong partner alignment, and clear delivery against commercial objectives.
Your day to day
- Act as the primary point of accountability for Global Alliances marketing- serving as the lead in the management of the business planning process & delivery oversight of the in-the-year plan – effectively building and gaining cross functional buy-in and alignment
- Oversight of an integrated marketing function that manages visibility into both Global & Regional initiatives that all effectively map to an integrated plans and priorities
- Responsible for workflow process improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness across the function
- Actively manage the Agency relationships including all project-based initiatives & optimize the value generated in partnership with the Agency Services Team
- Holiday Inn Club Vacations and Iberostar Marketing: partnering closely with internal business partners
- Alliance Integration: onboarding new partnerships into IHG marketing system
- Commercial Performance: leading marketing strategies to drive top-line performance through owned, earned, paid channels
- Partner management and planning, ensuring alignment on priorities, performance, and delivery
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of marketing professionals providing clear direction, prioritization, and performance management
- Act as an advisor to managers or team members to help meet established schedules and/or resolve technical or operational problems.
- Provide operational management of the budget, working closely with the VP L&P Marketing & Finance business partners
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8–10+ years' experience in marketing, loyalty, commercial, strategy, digital, or hospitality operations
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs at scale
- Strong strategic thinking paired with operational rigor and execution discipline
- Executive-level communication, influence, and storytelling skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving clarity for teams
- People management and leadership experience required
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $140,000.00 to $160,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
