ShineBask Technologies LLC is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to support the development and integration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities for public sector communications. The role involves configuring, developing, and maintaining automated journeys and SMS capabilities while ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, develop, customize, integrate, troubleshoot, and support Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality for MHBE communications (email & SMS)
- Implement and maintain SFMC modules:
- Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Connect
- Enable SMS messaging capabilities:
- Short code acquisition support and provisioning, keyword configuration, opt-in/opt-out and consent handling, carrier/compliance alignment
- Design and deploy automated journeys, triggered sends, and scheduled communications across email and SMS channels
- Build and maintain Data Extensions, segmentation logic, and SQL queries for audience selection and automation
- Develop dynamic, personalized content using AMP script and SFMC scripting patterns
- Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other State systems; implement connectors/configuration needed for data flows
- Troubleshoot campaign, SMS, data, and automation failures; perform remediation and root-cause analysis
- Produce technical documentation, knowledge-transfer materials, and adhere to MHBE change control, privacy, security and PMO policies
- Provide flexible operational support including off-hours/weekend availability as required
- Submit supervisor-approved timesheets with each invoice
Requirements:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development
- Hands-on experience with AMP script and SQL in Marketing Cloud
- Experience implementing or supporting SMS messaging, including consent management
- Familiarity with regulated or public-sector environments (PII, compliance, security)
- Ability to work effectively in a staff augmentation role under state direction
- Experience with Mobile Connect, SMS compliance, and short code provisioning processes
- Experience supporting government agencies or health organizations
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG / Section 508)
- Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce
- A minimum of five (5) years of Salesforce experience in Marketing Cloud development
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer or Consultant certification
