Special A is seeking a fully bilingual Mandarin-English Business Development & Sales Consultant based in the Greater Houston area to support U.S. market expansion, client growth, and local partnership-building. This role involves engaging prospective clients, building trust with families and education partners, and supporting long-term client relationships across the Houston market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead market outreach and client acquisition efforts, identifying and converting new leads
- Understand client needs and recommend tailored admissions and academic enrichment services
- Manage client sign-ups, follow-ups, and relationship-building throughout the sales process
- Maintain strong client relationships to improve satisfaction, trust, and renewal potential
- Support planning and execution of local client meetings, parent consultations, seminars, workshops, and education fairs in the Houston area
- Gather and share market feedback to strengthen services, outreach strategy, and brand presence
Requirements:
- Must be based in or near the Greater Houston area and able to meet with local clients in person as needed
- Fluent professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English is required
- Bachelor's degree or above required
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with students, parents, and clients
- Goal-driven, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment
- Able to communicate service value clearly and support lead conversion with professionalism and responsiveness
- Prior experience in sales, business development, education consulting, admissions, or high-end client service is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the U.S. education or admissions consulting market is preferred
- Located in or near the Greater Houston area
- Experience working with high-achieving students and high-expectation families
- Experience supporting local market events, outreach campaigns, or education-related business growth is a plus
- Existing connections to schools, parents, community organizations, or education networks in the Houston area are a plus
