(Senior) Electrical Engineer

Sourcechange is a newly launched EPC with a proven founding team focused on building its engineering function. They are hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to take ownership of electrical design for utility-scale and commercial battery storage, on-site generation, and solar projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead electrical design and drafting for utility scale and commercial battery storage, on-site generation, and solar projects
• Produce plan sets and full design packages in AutoCAD
• Coordinate with utilities and AHJs on interconnection requirements and permitting processes
• Author and refine internal design standards and CAD templates as the engineering function scales
• Provide technical input to project proposals and presentations
• Support field verification and commissioning activity on project sites as required

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in an EPC environment working on battery storage, microgrids, on-site generation, or utility scale solar
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and plan set production
• Familiarity with utility interconnection processes, NEC, and relevant codes and standards
• PE license preferred, or actively working toward it
