The HR Business Partner Manager role involves serving as a strategic thought partner to leadership, driving HR solutions aligned with business strategies, and enhancing talent management and organizational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a strategic thought partner to various levels of leadership and management, driving medium- to long-term HR solutions aligned with business strategy across CFAO, Network Services and Trade organization
- Collaborates with various levels of business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and align Human Resources strategies and initiatives accordingly
- Participates in strategic planning discussions, contributes to key HR insights, and develops plans to address current and future talent needs
- Assists in developing and implementing talent management strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Supports organizational development efforts by assessing organizational effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to enhance employee engagement and productivity
- Provides guidance on policies, procedures, and employment laws, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of employees
- Collaborates with Human Resources specialists and other stakeholders to roll out programs such as performance management, compensation and benefits, employee engagement surveys, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and learning and development programs
- Ensures compliance with Human Resources policies, procedures, and employment laws within their business units
- Assists in workforce planning activities by analyzing data and trends related to workforce demographics, skills gaps, turnover, and succession planning
- Provides guidance and support to business leaders and managers on various HR matters by providing coaching and development opportunities, facilitating talent reviews, and assisting in addressing performance issues or employee development needs
- Works on a variety of HR and/or business initiatives as assigned
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Human Resources/Talent Development work experience and/or successful completion of a CVS rotational program with a BS/BA degree
- Ability to work independently
- Business & financial acumen
- Talent management/development experience
