SAIC is looking for an experienced Business Analyst Sr. to join their team at the DOI. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define and analyze business needs, developing business processes, and facilitating discussions to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define, document, and analyze business needs
- Establish and develop relationships between customer and stakeholders
- Research and summarize federal and organizational policies related to data management and data governance
- Review, write, and edit technical documentation and organizational policy
- Define and develop business processes, policies, roles and responsibilities, and performance metrics
- Facilitate or lead discussions or workshops to identify areas of improvement, business needs, insights and validate findings
- Analyze current state processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions to optimize workflows
- Create and maintain PowerPoint presentations to communicate policies and workflows
Requirements:
- Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience
- Masters and four (4) years or more experience
- PhD and 0 years related experience
- Strong technical writing
- Ability to synthesize and distill complex information
- Ability to effectively communicate business information with a diverse audience
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Proactive in identifying issues or recommending improvements
- Understanding of organizational structures and organizational change management
- Experience with IT systems, GIS systems, Geospatial data environments, and data analysis
- Experience supporting data governance initiatives and data platform operations
