Business Development Planning Engineer (Fiber / Telecom)

PTR Global is seeking a Business Development Planning Engineer to play a critical role in driving fiber expansion strategy and market growth. This position blends technical fiber engineering expertise with business development insight, helping shape scalable, cost-effective network solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and expansion strategies
• Conduct feasibility analysis, ROI modeling, and network planning
• Develop high-level FTTH network designs and architecture concepts
• Optimize designs using automated planning tools (Comsof) and GIS platforms
• Partner with Sales, Construction, Operations, and Finance teams
• Support investment decisions through forecasts, cost models, and planning data

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Telecom, Electrical, Civil, or related)
• 5+ years in fiber network planning, telecom engineering, or infrastructure development
• Strong expertise in FTTH design, OSP concepts, and fiber methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Comsof (required) and GIS tools
• Ability to bridge engineering + business strategy effectively
• GIS tools (IQGeo preferred)
