Drop / Count Team – Wendover
The Drop / Count Team is responsible for retrieving unverified coin and cash from slot machines. Accurately count, bag, wrap and transport coin to various banks in the casino. Handle large amounts of verified and unverified cash and cash-equivalents. Works between Wendover Nugget Hotel & Casino and Red Garter Hotel & Casino.
In this role you will:
· Collect coin and cash drops from slot machines on a daily basis and verifies weight of coin in each drop bucket.
· Deliver cash drop to Vault.
· Process coin/cash and stacks bags of coins and buckets of wrapped coins on cards, according to prescribed procedures to transport and store coin in vaults.
· Verify bags of coins retrieved from cage booths in using counting equipment.
· Retrieve/deliver coin as requested to appropriate cage and slot banks throughout the casino.
· Perform related and/or other duties as required.
Requirements
· High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Must be able to pass basic math test.
· Must obtain a Nevada Gaming card.
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
· On feet or standing 100% of time.
· Ability to follow directions thoroughly.
· Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.
· Ability to prioritize and organize.
· Ability to be a clear thinker, remain calm and resolve problems using good judgement.
· Ability to understand guest’s service needs.
· Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
