They are seeking a Contract Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to support acquisition operations, data management, and business intelligence reporting for the Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board (FRTIB). The role involves enhancing data systems, performing data analysis, and delivering insights to improve acquisition oversight and process efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance acquisition data systems, including SharePoint lists, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Extract, validate, and reconcile procurement data from PRISM and other acquisition‑related systems
- Maintain and support approximately 10–15 Power BI dashboards, ensuring accurate, timely refresh cycles and data integrity
- Design and update database structures, queries, reports, and forms to support acquisition tracking and reporting needs
- Perform data analysis on contract actions, obligations, expenditures, milestones, and procurement timelines
- Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, and data quality issues; implement corrective actions and improvements
- Develop recurring and ad‑hoc analytical reports to support acquisition leadership decision‑making
- Compile analytics from PRISM outputs and produce trend insights to strengthen oversight and operational efficiency
- Support creation, enhancement, and maintenance of interactive dashboards used for acquisition planning, metrics tracking, and executive reporting
- Conduct testing and validation of data models, metrics, and dashboard functionality
- Provide technical documentation and user guidance for database tools and reporting systems
- Support FRTIB’s transition to future contract writing and financial systems, ensuring continuity of operations
- Assist with legacy data preservation and establishment of long‑term archival repositories
- Provide SME‑level input to help shape database modernization, data mapping, and interface design
- Deliver analytical insights to improve acquisition oversight, compliance, and process efficiency
- Provide acquisition‑related data for briefings, performance reviews, and operational dashboards used by AMD leadership
- Collaborate with SharePoint, Acquisition, and Cost/Price SMEs to ensure data alignment and consistency across functional tools
Requirements:
- 7-10+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or reporting roles
- Knowledge of federal contract writing and financial platforms
- Proficiency in Power BI, SharePoint Online, SQL‑based tools, and advanced Excel
- Bachelor's degree required
- Due to federal contract requirements, this position is restricted to U.S. citizens with eligibility for a suitability clearance
