Responsibilities:
- Utilize HR metrics to provide recommendations to senior leadership on areas to streamline programs in which HR Operations provide oversight
- Ensures compliance throughout MBO’s programs with regulations while providing creative solutioning in line with the organization’s risk tolerance
- Research industry trends and legislation in employment law to provide insight on HR legal requirements to meet local, state, and federal requirements
- Provides operational support utilizing generalist knowledge and becomes a trusted advisor on complex issue resolution
- Leverages data to analyze trends and metrics to guide evaluation of client programs and policies with appropriate data to influence decision making
- Serves as the subject matter expert in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and system enhancements to support evolving business needs
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize HR processes, leveraging technology and automation to drive efficiency and effectiveness
- Facilitate employee relations investigations inclusive of interviewing Talent and liaising with Ethics and Compliance teams at client
- Partners with risk management and legal to mitigate risk for the parties involved
- Resolve highly complex issues by consulting with business leaders to obtain a solid understanding of business practices and procedures to implement solutions in line with regulatory compliance, contractual requirements, and client needs
- Manage statutory reporting at the federal/state/local levels
- Diversity and Inclusion liaison for client programs, completing quarterly reporting on client diversity to support client diversity initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (Human Resources and/or Business) required
- 10 years' experience as an HR Business Partner
- 10 years of experience in an HR Generalist role required
- Experience researching and creating HR policy to support business needs and compliance
- Experience managing employee benefit programs and working with department managers supporting HR initiatives
- Experience managing security clearance programs and the ability to obtain a United States secret security clearance
- Experience with an internal ticketing system to support inquiries from the business
- Experience researching and interpreting regulations in support of business needs
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
- Interpersonal skills including a highly responsive client centered disposition and the ability to work well in a service-oriented business culture
- Written and verbal communication skills
- PHR/SPHR preferred
