OhioHealth is a health system that focuses on wellness and patient care. The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technology projects to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage medium to large-scale IT projects such as system upgrades, application rollouts, and departmental technology initiatives
- Lead internal resources and third-party vendors in project execution
- Track project performance and report on milestones, identify and drive plans to resolve risks and issues
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and ensure clear communication of project goals
- Support change management and training efforts
- Ensure adherence to healthcare IT standards and data privacy regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
- PMP or CAPM certification preferred
- 3–5 years of IT project management experience, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems and regulatory requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
