Cypress HCM is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to enhance data quality and governance within their CRM systems. The role involves auditing data, optimizing reporting and analysis processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data representation across marketing and revenue systems.
Responsibilities:
- Audit and remediate contact, company, and deal data quality issues within HubSpot
- Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and field governance across the CRM
- Identify and resolve duplicate records, incomplete data, and attribution gaps
- Partner with sales and GTM teams to maintain clean, consistent data across the revenue funnel
- Build and maintain data validation processes to catch quality issues proactively
- Write and optimize SQL queries in BigQuery to support marketing analytics and attribution reporting
- Analyze funnel metrics, pipeline contribution, channel performance, and campaign effectiveness
- Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for marketing and executive stakeholders
- Support ad hoc analysis requests from demand generation, product marketing, and GTM leadership
- Work with APIs to pull, transform, and sync data across marketing and revenue systems
- Collaborate with data and engineering teams to ensure marketing data is accurately represented in the data warehouse
- Document data models, field mappings, and integration logic for marketing systems
- Identify gaps in data collection and work cross-functionally to close them
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing operations, revenue operations, or a closely related analytical role
- Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on BigQuery experience required
- Deep working knowledge of HubSpot (CRM, Marketing Hub, and/or Operations Hub)
- Experience working with REST APIs for data extraction or integration purposes
- Proven track record of improving CRM data quality and implementing data governance practices
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large datasets into meaningful insights
- Excellent communication skills; able to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams independently in a fast-paced, distributed environment
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, including data syncs and alignment with HubSpot
- Familiarity with Clay for data enrichment, list building, and GTM workflows
- Hands-on experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Manus for data analysis, research, or operational workflows
- Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation or pipeline scripting
- Experience supporting multi-region or multi-language marketing operations
