Sr Project Manager

Commence is a company focused on data-centric transformation in healthcare, aiming to enhance health outcomes and streamline processes. They are seeking a Sr. Project Manager to manage complex projects across various sectors and lead a team to ensure efficient operations aligned with strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and monitor projects using established project management methodologies and best practices
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and stakeholders
• Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to coordinate and optimize cross-functional processes and projects
• Support the invoicing process and monthly financial reporting
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and other deliverables to internal and external stakeholders
• Support waterfall projections based on current projects
• Identify and resolve operational issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Lead and mentor a team of project managers providing feedback, coaching, and guidance
• Support business development activities, such as proposal writing, pricing, and client presentations
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to enhance performance and customer value

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or related field preferred
• 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in the state & local government, healthcare, commercial, or federal sectors
• PMP certification highly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Highly analytical, organized, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software and tools
• Experience supporting CPFF, T&M and Fixed Price contracts
• Experience with healthcare data management, data analytics, data governance, data quality, or data integration projects is a plus
