CAP3 is a professional services firm that provides accounting and marketing functions for small and medium-sized businesses across the country. They are seeking a Business Development Executive to identify potential clients, build relationships, and close recurring service agreements to help the company grow intentionally.
Responsibilities:
- Find business owners and leaders who would benefit from having an expert accounting or marketing team on retainer
- Build relationships that get you in the room and close recurring service agreements
- Build a referral network of professionals who advise business owners
Requirements:
- Have 5+ years of B2B sales experience and a verifiable track record of closing new business
- Are comfortable walking in cold and coming out with a meeting
- Can earn credibility with a business owner in the first three minutes of a conversation
- Have experience selling recurring or subscription-based services — or can articulate why the model makes sense to a prospect
- Don't need a manager to keep you moving
- Have existing relationships with business owners, leaders, and professional advisors (bankers, attorneys, CPAs) — or know how to build them fast
