Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing one or more small to medium-sized projects to achieve defined business objectives. This role ensures successful delivery by aligning project scope, timelines, and resources with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Define business and technical requirements, create roadmaps, and establish project strategies
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure successful project outcomes
- Execute project plans by coordinating team activities, assigning tasks, and facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and technical teams
- Lead meetings with project teams, end users, and vendors to define and deliver technical solutions
- Monitor and track project progress across multiple Agile teams and business units
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining cost, quality, and schedule targets
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership
- Manage change requests, escalate risks, and maintain proper project documentation
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) to ensure governance and process alignment
- Utilize PPM and Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Clarity) to track performance, productivity, and deliverables
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to project teams and EPMO staff
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in systems development or support environments
- Strong understanding of Agile and traditional (Waterfall) methodologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and resolve complex issues
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification
- Advanced degree in Project Management or related field
- Experience working in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment
- Familiarity with Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPMO) processes
