Maverick Group is a full-service direct hire recruiting agency known for solving talent gaps for industry leaders nationwide. They are seeking a determined Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and build relationships with clients to address their hiring challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Opportunity to build a specific book of business selling and closing business with Manufacturing, finance and accounting, Executive, Industrial, and/or Technology, clients
- Leverage our tools to identify high-value prospects and execute multi-channel outreach encompassing cold calling, email, and InMail, complemented by attending networking events to build a robust pipeline and accelerate business development
- Conduct in-depth account research and meet with prospects, qualify them, negotiate terms, and secure executed agreements
- Lead intake calls for a deep understanding of clients open positions. Then act as the liaison between the client and our recruiters to ensure successful placements
- Saturate and find opportunities within the client's other departments and continue to build relationships within the account
- Accountable for driving the business in a direction that ensures financial targets are met or exceeded on a consistent basis
- Exude leadership and professionalism at all times and in all situations
Requirements:
- Must live in Florida and have experience in the recruiting industry
- 2–4 years experience in Recruiting Sales in the Manufacturing, Engineering, Executive, Industrial, or finance and accounting space
- Proven track record of new client acquisition
- You can hold your own in a conversation with C-level executives and/or business leaders
- Comfortable cold-calling prospective clients
- College Degree preferred
