The Vice President of Product Management will partner with the General Manager to lead global product strategies, oversee pricing and channel leadership, and manage new product introductions while fostering a high-performing team culture.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead the 3–5 year portfolio, technology, and investment strategy, grounded in customer needs, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and financial returns
- Drive end‑to‑end product line lifecycle management, including launch, scale, margin expansion, and end‑of‑life decisions
- Ruthlessly prioritize high‑impact initiatives and reallocate resources dynamically to accelerate growth and returns
- Anticipate macro trends, disruptive technologies, and competitive moves; proactively adapt business and operating models
- Own global pricing strategy and governance, ensuring disciplined value‑based pricing and margin realization
- Define and execute go‑to‑market strategies across direct and distribution channels, aligned with portfolio intent
- Build and maintain senior‑level customer and partner relationships (OEMs, Tier customers, distributors)
- Accelerate the NPI pipeline, ensuring market‑ready launches and rapid, predictable ramp to revenue
- Lead a global, multi‑industry Project Management organization, delivering complex, regulated, high‑mix sensor programs from customer award through industrialization
- Establish and enforce execution discipline at scale: clear governance, prioritization, escalation, and accountability for cost, quality, delivery, and margin
- Partner with Strategy to lead the full M&A lifecycle: target screening, strategic rationale, diligence, and integration planning
- Identify and build partnerships and adjacencies that expand portfolio breadth, accelerate capability development, and open new markets
- Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing global Product & Project Management organization
- Develop future leaders through coaching, delegation, and deliberate succession planning
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, speed, and customer focus
- Champion the enterprise adoption of AI and advanced analytics to accelerate strategy execution and operational excellence
Requirements:
- Demonstrated P&L ownership in a complex, global product environment at or near the $1B scale
- Clear aspiration and readiness to step into a Business General Manager role within a global, matrixed enterprise
- Strong strategic judgment paired with hands-on leadership in technical, commercial, and operational settings
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional, global teams and deliver measurable business results
- Deep business and financial acumen, including portfolio trade-offs, business cases, and forecasting
- Strong technical foundation in sensors or adjacent mechatronic, electrical, or electronic technologies
- Track record of execution discipline in complex, regulated, multi-industry environments
- High emotional intelligence, self-aware, resilient, and effective under pressure
- Comfortable operating in large corporate environments; candidates from smaller organizations welcomed with evidence of scalability and enterprise readiness
- Experience leading or materially contributing to M&A and integration preferred
