Senior DevOps Engineer

Akido Labs is an AI-native care provider focused on addressing America’s physician shortage through innovative technology. They are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and enhance the systems that ensure their platform's reliability and security, contributing directly to the infrastructure team's impact on product delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code best practices
• Manage and evolve Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across environments
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and reduce deployment risk
• Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and drive post-mortems to prevent recurrence
• Collaborate closely with software engineers to support application deployment and platform needs
• Harden infrastructure security posture, including IAM policies, network segmentation, and secrets management
• Contribute to capacity planning, cost optimization, and cloud architecture decisions
• Support a multi-cloud environment, including limited work in Azure
• Document infrastructure, runbooks, and operational procedures to support a growing team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role
• Deep expertise with AWS — networking, compute, storage, IAM, and managed services
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes in production
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tooling
• Experience working on small, collaborative teams where you wear multiple hats
• Experience with Azure or other cloud providers
• Familiarity with observability tooling — logging, metrics, and tracing
• Strong written communication skills for documentation and async collaboration
