Booz Allen Hamilton is a leading consulting firm, and they are seeking a Program and Project Manager to support complex projects from concept to completion. The role involves implementing and maintaining organizational programs, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring project goals are met through effective communication and tactical planning.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain organizational programs in support of empowering our clients in achieving their mission and objectives
- Work with key stakeholders to review contracts and project cost accounting
- Help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Project and regular interactions with SMEs, schedulers, customers, and project analysts
- Ensure the program achieves its goals and meets quality standards
- Influence a meaningful mission while learning how to develop and maintain program strategy
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience developing and delivering hardware-based solutions in a project or program management role
- Experience using Microsoft Project to build and manage project delivery
- Experience writing technical proposals
- Experience managing delivery to a contract
- Ability to function independently as a self-starter and manage work efficiently
- Ability to manage project scope, schedule, and budget for all elements of a project
- Ability to identify, manage, and communicate project risks to senior leadership
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience using EVMS to manage project budgets and schedules
- Experience managing research and development programs
- Experience managing programs to design and deliver integrated hardware and software systems
- Experience working with suppliers and managing product delivery to a set of requirements
- Experience using the Agile framework and the Sprint or Scrum approach to project management
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD design software
- Possession of excellent problem resolution and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred; Master's degree in Engineering a plus
- Project Management Professional Certification
