Job Overview:
What you will do Manage the end-to-end content production workflow from clinical editorial review, QA, and release deployment Build and maintain the operational cadence across product, clinical content, and engineering, content release calendars, cross-functional stand-ups Define, instrument, and report on product operations.
KPIs:
- Content freshness rates, release velocity, defect escape rates, SLA compliance by content type Utilize Jira and Confluence to ensure process documentation is accurate and adopted.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for content quality issues and production blockers; facilitate root cause analysis and drive corrective action Partner with clinical pharmacists and medical editors to triage incoming content change requests, prioritize against clinical impact, and route appropriately.
- Support product launches by coordinating go/no-go readiness across content completeness, QA sign-off, and regulatory review checklists Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks; lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce time-to-publish without sacrificing clinical accuracy.
- Serve as the voice of operational reality in product roadmap discussions -translating content team capacity into realistic delivery commitments.
- Required qualifications 5+ years in product operations, program management, or content operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare, clinical content, or regulated industries.
- Demonstrated ability to design and document operational workflows for cross-functional teams Experience owning project management tooling and building processes other teams actually use Data-driven approach to operations.
- Comfortable defining metrics, building dashboards, and presenting insights to leadership.
- Strong written communication; ability to translate clinical and technical complexity into operational clarity.
- Nice to have Background in pharmacy, clinical informatics, health information management, or life sciences.
- Familiarity with drug reference content (FDA labeling, USP monographs, clinical guidelines).
- Experience operating within an FDA-regulated or HIPAA-governed product environment.
- Knowledge of HL7 FHIR, EHR integrations, or clinical data interoperability standards.
- Prior work at a clinical content publisher, pharmacy benefits company, or health IT vendor.
- Experience with agile product delivery and working alongside software engineering teams.
