Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Commercial Drywall Finisher to support ongoing commercial construction projects. This role is hands-on and production-focused, responsible for delivering high-quality drywall finishes on large-scale commercial jobs. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in clean work, works efficiently, and understands the pace and expectations of commercial construction. This position requires approximately 90% night work, scheduled Sunday through Thursday, to support active commercial jobsite requirements.
Compensation: $23 - $27
Travel: Regional travel to job sites
Key Responsibilities
- Finish drywall to commercial standards, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texturing
- Prepare surfaces for paint and final finishes
- Repair and touch up drywall as needed to meet quality and inspection requirements
- Read and follow basic blueprints, plans, and finish specifications
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules and project deadlines
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Coordinate with foremen, superintendents, and other trades on site
- Follow all jobsite safety requirements and Kalos Services standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial drywall finishing experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial finishing techniques and materials
- Ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes with minimal supervision
- Experience working on large commercial projects such as retail, medical, education, or office spaces
- Ability to lift materials, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive physical work
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and accountability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in active, multi-trade commercial jobsites
- Ability to keep pace with production schedules without sacrificing quality
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
