Senior Backend Engineer — Distributed Systems Platform Completion (Fixed-Price)

FLiPP Productions is completing a partially-built media automation platform and is seeking an experienced senior engineer to take ownership of the remaining V1 scope. The role involves closing out reliability, content pipeline, account warming, CRM sequencing, and dashboard integration to achieve unattended production operation.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the remaining V1 scope of the media automation platform
• Review the project tracker and documentation, evaluate the remaining work, and submit a bid based on assessment
• Run Claude Code or similar AI tooling effectively to maintain pace on smaller items
• Apply real engineering judgment to the harder integration work
• Articulate architectural trade-offs with specific examples from past work
• Communicate daily in English

Requirements:

• 7+ years senior backend experience
• Experience inheriting and shipping against existing production codebases (not just greenfield)
• Comfortable with the polyglot stack
• Ability to articulate architectural trade-offs with specific examples from past work
• Daily verbal communication in English
• Direct experience with browser/device automation
• Experience with distributed systems with Kafka
• Experience with rate-limited platform APIs
